On a generous corner plot, this project is based on the demolition of an old house and the renovation of a completely new floor plan, configured by reading the shape of the plot, its slope, pre-existing gardens and, finally, potential views to be framed.

In a "T" shape, the house develops along two axes: a larger wing, which creates a wall for the neighbor and is the entrance to the house, transiting between the social area and, at its other end, becoming an intimate zone. And, in the other direction, the base of this "T", shorter in length but wider, holds the entire social area, advancing towards the lowest point of the plot and opening up the house to contemplative gardens and the pool area.

At the meeting point between the two arms, a spiral staircase is positioned, directing the resident to a second plane of experience, an area of extra rooms for guests and a leisure area with a gym, sauna and massage room. Functioning independently of the rest of the house, this space operates as an expanded use, because when inhabited without visitors, it is fundamentally a ground floor house.

Looking at it from another perspective, the project can also be defined by two horizontal planes - metal structures covered by a wooden ceiling and a stone floor - with a play of moving volumes inside. Independent monoliths organize the program between intimate areas and set up transitional social spaces between them.
