GOLD AND CAMBRIC

I 2019

Divided into two atmospheres, this law office located near Paulista Avenue is accessed through an extensive gable in wired glass which, serving as a bulkhead for the work areas, creates a play of silhouettes and lights on arrival.

With a glimpse of what's going on inside, the initial route takes clients directly to the meeting rooms which, detached from the more corporate environment, are in front of a pillar, naturally highlighted by its thickness and the lighting that marks the circulation.

Concrete, which sets the tone of seriousness and robustness in the office, sometimes broken up with exposed infrastructure and the presence of black metalwork, appears in the meeting rooms through a wide ceiling. The concern with acoustics was resolved through open crown molding and indirect light, which illuminates the beams, announcing the material's prominence.

In the staff area, on the other hand, the structure even provides inspiration for internal circulation demarcated by the presence of a cut-out beam. If you look closely, you can see that the office rooms - wooden boxes set back from the slab - are positioned in exactly the same alignment as the beam decreases in height.

These volumes, finally, also have their own detail - detached cabinets on the top and sides, which act as a partition between one room and another, also have a glass frame, acoustically isolating each room, but allowing a view of internal movements and natural light.
