BOA VISTA VI

I 2015

Located on a fairly slender plot, a linear volume opens onto the golf course and a unique sunset. Serving as a buffer against the flow of residents heading towards the golf course and helping to maintain the privacy of the couple's children, a second body in exposed concrete is detached from the main volume and positioned in front of it. This pavilion mainly forms a patio and promenade between the blocks.

In addition to this feature, a stone wall reinforces the intention of isolating the house, bringing with it a winter garden for the circulation leading to the bedrooms. At the same time, on the opposite side, a generous eaves overhang protects the social area from direct light, allowing it to appear in a surprising way through the zenithal openings, colored light boxes that, together with a wooden interior, deliberately contrast with the sober and sometimes austere entrance, characteristics that are a natural reflection of the dark materiality and more introspective forms of the access.
