MORÁS BUILDING
I 2021
The Morás building, commissioned by a construction/incorporation company born in the interior of São Paulo, was born out of the great desire to enter the real estate market in the capital of São Paulo and the consequent understanding of the importance of location as a way of enhancing the project.
For this reason, the building, located in Vila Madalena, with its pulsating life and friendly surroundings of spaces that resist large-scale verticalization, seeks to respect this through its scale and also in the choice of materials. Brick gables frame the building, while the main façade frames the treetops in front through its large floor-to-ceiling windows.
The terrain, which is very cut out, being an apparent sum of several different plots, challenged the insertion and usable area of the project. In addition, there was a significant gap between the access from the street and the back of the plot, which resulted in an organized first floor for the common areas, housing a gym and bike racks, and two underground garage levels below.
On the upper levels, as with the entire design of the project, the search to optimize building potential combined with a great deal of freedom conceived by the developer led to very spacious floor plans, with integrated areas that would make it possible, in the future, for each resident to personalize their home.
